P&ID Valve Extractor
Upload any AutoCAD-exported P&ID. AI extracts valve tags, pipe specs, and line numbers using ANSI/ISA-5.1 — colour-coded Excel in seconds.
  • Tag, type, NPS, spec code, line number, notes
  • Multi-pass AI with position-aware recovery
  • Designed for CAD-exported and annotated P&IDs — results vary by drawing quality
  • Two-tab Excel: schedule + review checklist

Drawing Validation
Check extracted valve assignments against the drawing's pipe-connectivity graph. Flags line numbers that don't match the pipe the valve sits on, recovers blanks, and is honest about what it can't verify — zero AI cost.
  • Confirms, contradicts, or recovers every line number
  • Catches proximity errors the nearest-label heuristic misses
  • Runs entirely in your browser — no API calls
  • Flags only — the engineering decision stays with you

P&ID Intelligence QC
Reconcile the lines on an extracted P&ID against the client's official line list — the independent reference. Flags lines drawn but never listed, lines listed but never drawn, and sizes that disagree — zero AI cost.
  • Deterministic join on the line number — no guessing
  • Matched · drawing-only · list-only · field-conflict
  • Runs entirely in your browser — no API calls
  • Organizes the disagreement; the decision stays with you

Master Tag Register
Merge your valve, instrument, and equipment extractor outputs into one canonical asset register — joined on the tag number. Deterministic merge, not extraction: it organizes disagreement, never resolves it — zero AI cost.
  • Three signed-off CSVs → one 14-column register
  • Class conflicts, field conflicts, provenance surfaced
  • Runs entirely in your browser — no API calls
  • Downloadable master-tag-register.csv

Tag Register Reconciliation
Reconcile your extracted Tag Register against the client's official asset list — the independent reference. Flags assets drawn but never listed, assets on the list that the extraction did not find, and fields that disagree — zero AI cost.
  • Deterministic join on the tag number — no guessing
  • Matched · drawing-only · not-found-by-extraction · field-conflict
  • Runs entirely in your browser — no API calls
  • Organizes the disagreement; the decision stays with you

Instrument Index Extractor
Upload a P&ID and pull its instrumentation into a tag index — ISA-5.1 function tags, loop numbers, and line references in a review-ready CSV. Beta: accuracy is still being validated per drawing class.
  • ISA-5.1 instrument tags (FT, LIT, PIT and loop siblings)
  • Line number and physical location where readable
  • CSV index output for review
  • Engineer sign-off required — blank over wrong

🔬 Internal · M0 validation
Equipment Register Extractor
Reads equipment tag callouts from a wastewater P&ID, parses each with the frozen tag grammar, and derives type + process area from the tag. M0 internal validation — not a customer product: one Haiku pass, draft semantics, every classification explained.
  • Compound municipal tags — [area][type][seq]
  • Rejection-path focus: instruments / valves / I/O kept out
  • Full per-tag trace — accept / review / reject, and why
  • Draft semantics — type/area provisional pending M0

CAD Drawing Extractor
One upload of a vector/AutoCAD P&ID runs the valve, instrument and document-metadata pipelines together and returns a single combined result. Beta: accuracy is still being validated per drawing class. Scanned and flattened PDFs are routed to the P&ID tool instead.
  • Valve register, instrument index and metadata in one job
  • Vector/annotation-rich drawings only — checked on upload
  • Same pipelines each tool runs on its own — orchestration, not new logic
  • Engineer sign-off required — blank over wrong

Document Metadata Harvester
Batch upload up to 20 PDFs. Extracts the document metadata fields you select and delivers a SharePoint-ready CSV in seconds.
  • Batch: up to 20 documents at once
  • Doc number, title, revision, discipline, status
  • SharePoint-ready CSV output
  • Confidence flagging on every field

What "vector" / "flattened" means
vector — drawing was exported straight from CAD (AutoCAD, etc.) with its text/line data intact. Most accurate extraction.  ·  flattened — drawing is effectively a picture (scanned copy, or exported/printed as an image) with no underlying digital text or CAD lines, even if it opens fine as a PDF. We still extract from these using AI vision — it works, but tag positions and spec codes are more likely to need a review pass than on a vector drawing.
Industry
Drawing Convention — optional, improves non-standard formats

// What this tool reads
✅ Extracted automatically
  • Tag numbers (MV, PSV, PT, FT…)
  • NPS (nominal pipe size)
  • Valve type (ball, gate, globe, butterfly…)
  • Spec code (from annotation layer)
  • Line numbers (when labelled)
⚠️ Requires manual review
  • Spec codes — rotated on valve stems
  • Vertical pipe valves — may need a second pass
  • Crowded or low-res drawings
All output is tagged HIGH / REVIEW / AMBIGUOUS confidence. Engineer sign-off required before issuing.
